A part from provision of spiritual services to its members and society at large, Elgon Religious Society of Friends Church also plays a leading role in the development of social amenities to serve both its members and the community. ERSF sponsors two national schools, Friends School Kamusinga and Lugulu Girls High School among other many primary and secondary schools mostly in Bungoma County to support Education. It also sponsors Lugulu Mission Hospital and Machwele dispensary in the health sector. ERSF also runs Friends Theological College Lugulu Campus which is a branch of The East Africa Yearly Meeting of Friends, Kaimosi.
